            Mick Leahy
            Gaylord Barnes
            Joey Giardello
            Terry Downes
            Denny Moyer (I & II)
            Wilf Greaves
            Gene Fullmer (all four fights)
            Paul Pender (I & II)
            Carmen Basilio (I & II)
Bobo Olson (II, III & IV)
            Rocky Castellani
            Garth Panter
            Ralph Jones
            Joey Maxim
            Rocky Graziano
            Randy Turpin (I & II)
            Cyrille Delannoit
            Gerhard Hecht
            Hans Stretz
            Luc Van Dam
            Jean Walzack
            Jake LaMotta
            Jean Stock
            Bobby Dykes
            Charley Fusari
            Robert Villemain
            Cliff Becket
            Ray Barnes
            Freddie Flores
            Tony Riccio
            Bernard Docusen
            Sammy Angott
            Georgie Abrams

            Amateur fights vs
            Ancona
            Valentine
            Nonnell

There might be more but that's already around 50 fights.

I think people say TS is an idiot and **** but that's unfair, i think he made an interesting point. People blindly praise the old school without knowing that much about it, like people doin it the other way around.

A guy like Henry Armstrong, who is one of my favourite fighters ever, let his head above his legs too much, when he was pressuring fighters. I wonder if his style would translate very well nowadays.
Zab Judah would get beat easily by Robinson but Mayweather represents a better prototype of the modern athlete/ boxer and has the total package. I believe Mayweather would have given a hard time to those old school guys. In soccer it's the same thing i doubt Pele could do as good as Lionel Messi, even though fans would say Pele is God himself and that Messi is a simple mortal..

Nowadays fighters have better trainings, supplements and use calisthenics much more than they did in the past, and muscle building exercises. Plus with the videos and the experience of old school guys, those youngsters have the chance to see the evolution of the sport, what did work, what didn't work that well, what could be improved. For example look at Toney and Whitaker: when you see them you're pretty sure they watched old school fights of Willie Pep, Gene Tunney, Niccolino Loche, etc..but they used those old school tactics and combined that with their modern training and brought defensive boxing at another level.

SRR and his opponents had none of that. So it's not ****** to say that nowadays fighters would have other advantages against them.

SRR was the truth, and it's plain to see.

Mayweather would give SRR hell at 147 pounds....

                    As would Whitaker.....

                    Roy Jones Jr.....at any weight.

                    Bernard Hopkins at anyweight...

                    All beat SRR.
