Its not that he should be moving always not to his right.

Is that everytime he throws his right hook, or lands it, he turns, circles or whatever you want to call it, to his right. if he does that fighting Cotto he is dead meat.

He needs to throw his right hook, and circle right away to his left, Cottos right, wich is a less lethal punch!!!!!

this situation is complex because Cotto fights as a orthodox but he is naturally left handed and his best Weapon is his left handed.

By the way, Im right handed and I fight as a southpaw, I know what you were saying.

I think we misunderstood each other!!!!!!
champ , if he moves to the left he's in range of cotto's left hook AND right hand.

if he moves to the right it's the left hook ONLY.

I get what your saying but I've seen Pac throw his right hook as a left counter (jab or hook) Do you think Cotto has the hand speed to throw a left, get countered, pull left back and throw another left before Pac is out of the way?

he gets hit too much, is very prone to counter punches

He is there to be hit when he throws punches, tends to get wild and off balance. I still find him to not really have great technique. I think if he is forced to really think about what is going on in the ring he loses a lot of fluidity. I have never really seen him come up with a plan b and dominate with plan b.

What he does he does well, and he can do more then in the past but he still is not a complete fighter although it takes a very cool customer to really exploit his weaknesses (imo). That or someone who can just take his fire and dish out more then he can dish out, but really he has yet to run into that scenario.

Is that not what makes him more endearing to fans than let's say a mayweather or a roy jones?? The fact that he is human and has shown vulnerability and still come out on top??

Endearing does not make me money ********. Weaknesses are weaknesses and against certain guys they could possibly be exploited but not everyone can exploit his weaknesses by any means.

kind of irrelevant since his right hook is still very powerful just the way it is, plus i think he is not as prone to the counter right hook from a south paw when he turns to his right. plus that's one of the reason why he's so hard to figure out. good observation on the right hook tho, although i dont see it as a weakness

check out Pac's right hook at 1:45. he does turn to his left just a little, it's barely noticable because he turns to his right really fast, i think it's mostly a defensive move.

he puts too much behind his shots, and smooth, smart boxers like JMM can take advantage of that by sliding back when manny attacks, and then countering
