Is pac really "proven" at 140/147

I was reading a comparison thread of jmm/pbf catchweight vs cotto/pac and it got me thinking. One of the biggest issues people have with jmm/pbf is that jmm is new to the weight and he's unproven to be successful at that weight.

Given that so many people don't give Pac credit for his fights at 140 and 147, how can they say he's proven at those weights? Its kinda silly to say Pac's a LWW at the same time his one fight at that weight was a "fluke" where Hatton could have been knocked out by anybody.

So which is it, did he prove himself above 140 against hatton and DLH or were the flukes and he should still be considered a 135 pounder?

He's not proven at all at 140.

People like to say Hatton was king there...but he hadn't beaten the new crop of guys..nor could he.

As far as I'm concerned, Pac hasn't proven jack **** his entire career.

He fought guys who were either shot, distracted, weight-drained, glass chins, etc.

It's all an illusion and rather flawless matchmaking. Whoever says Pac is even in the hall of fame is an idiot.

Hatton wasn't the only champ at 140.

He was the oldest and most vulnerable.

Ricky was there to be had by damn near anybody.

I give him full props for beating Hatton at 140, Hatton did beat Malignaggi at 140 and the RING and myself rated him #2 at the time.

Pac has done nothing at 147 though, DLH wasnt a legit 147 fighter anymore
