If Kessler can squeeze in Perdomo as a defence and have it act as a tune up for the tourney fight against Ward, I have no problem with that.

Sauerland are the ones who came up with the tourney idea so I'm sure they've got it covered.

The tourney is still hush hush right now. Showtime refuse to comment on it. Dan Rafael claims that's because they're all working overtime to get everything sorted for the July 13th press conference and the European press conferences following that.

but on the flipside its now or never for kess, hes in his prime, he has a better promoter, there is a tourney in which he will fight the best SMW's and if he was to avoid that i don't think i could champion him any longer. i think hes a great fighter and p4p material but he need to prove it.

i gave him a pass for not taking the fight with miranda after all it was on the back of a loss, i gave him a pass for sartison as he needed a belt to break into the mainstream, i gave him a pass haussler for because i know of the problems he has with mandatories and his promoter but this really is it now

He will appear in the MSG press conference on monday so he's in the tournament.

There'll be no more beating about the bush (or whatever the expession is ). It's now Kessler must show what he has.

Yay is all I can say. Belt/mandatory or not, I'm just glad he's out of Palle's clutches.

And I agree with facing a mandatory before stepping in with the tournament guys. Just a tune-up after all the inactivity, y'know?
