He is better off fighting at 208. Here's an interesting article for everyone to read about Chambers:

    (sigh)

he beat an overhyped guy who faced inferior opposition coming up and you're using this to claim against my response that chambers has no chance of being a reigning titleholder in the hw division...

    whatever man. time tells all.

I wasn't responding to that claim. It's this I was talking about:

"if chambers seriously wants to stay at hw, imho he needs to triple stack some steroids and get busy with the training. theres no way he can put on the muscle he needs to reign on the world level naturally, his body is too small."

Chambers could be Dimitrenko's size, he still wouldn't beat the Klitschko brothers. I'm afraid he simply isn't good enough but I guess we will see about that.

Chambers was incredibly sharp for the Dimitrenko fight, I really don't mind seeing him fighting at HW, but there is not way to deny he is a natural CW. He should consider challenging Adamek at CW, it might be a good idea.

Other guys who are natural CW are:
        Chagaev
        Ibragimov
        Solis
        Toney
        Haye

Why would he want to go to cruiser if he can land a huge fight at heavyweight and possibly, if he wins, get way more recognitiong. Don't forget about the payday. I don't think any of that would be there for him at cruiser. Let the man get his shot.

The guy beat a HW giant, so I don't think he should be doing anything hasty when it comes to moving around divisions. From the looks of it, he could hang with most HWs besides the Klitschkos and Povetkin.

People say Chambers is a light puncher simply because of his record but when he hits guys (Povetkin included) they tend to feel it.

He could possibly do ok, but I don't see him walking some of the big boys down like last weekend.

eddie chambers is prime example that weight divisions are overrated. at 6'1 208, he beat a guy who's 6'7 255 and yet ppl nit pick about hopkins having a significant advantage over trinidad and dlh. lol.

i would tend to agree that the man earned his shot...let him have it. I think, though, CW is waiting for him should Wlad prove to be too much. If he doesnt...all hail the new champ.
