This is actually good news for Team Pac and Roach. Now they know Floyd is willing to go down the 144 to fight Marquez and Roach will for damn certain make Floyd come down to fight the Pacman.

Of course. But he's never fought above 135. And that was just twice. I think its pretty obvious where the criticism is coming from. Cant blame Marquez for taking the fight. I hope he'll be effective at 144.

Good. And so, like I illustrated before:

^ In his last fight, Marquez was coming in at fight night weighing 140.

Against Manny at 130, he rehydrated 11 pounds. If anything, this catchweight will HELP JMM. He can come in at 142 or so, and not have to drain energy.

Floyd huggies: **** catchweights. If Floyd wants to fight a blown up lightweight, he needs to go down to lightweight, otherwise, he can go fight welterweights... oh no, wait, this isn't a Pac thread.

Weight was never an issue, IMO. For one, Marquez is obviously acquainted with the weight, as I showed.. But another thing is that Mayweather is not the kind of fighter who will impose his size on you, even if he is the bigger man. Against Hatton (who people later discredited Floyd beating for as being too small), Mayweather backtracked the entire fight and didn't try and impose his so-called size advantage that his detractors complained about.

He isn't the kind of guy who will make you pay for being smaller. He's too defensive minded.
