Hopkins has been he model citizen since leaving prison. He has given to charities, sponsered community events, and had scholarships in his name. In 2006 the mayor of Philadelphia commened Hopkins for his achievements to society and went as far to say they would look into jailing youths in the city who had done no crimes to ensure they would come out model citizens also.

You can't judge someone by thinking you know what is in their heart, because fact is, you don't.
Hopkins has a tendency to not just trash-talk, but to get under their opponents skin.
Most memorable ones being against Trinidad, Winky and Joe. If he meant it, he'd keep saying/doing these things. But Facts is, he doesn't. Infact he usually acknowledges his opponents and is smiling with them afterwards.
That's my opinion anyway.
