No the opponents turned Palle's offers down for what ever reasons. I doubt that Kessler has been offered anything on paper. Hopkins for instance flat out turned an offer for 4 million USD down without negotiating any further. He didn't want to fight Kessler. Of course Hopkins being 44 is entitled to do whatever he wants so I really don't blame him anything.

It's worse with Chad Dawson who Kessler was set up to fight on HBO. Dawson didn't want a catchweight at 172 wanting only to fight for his LHW belt. A couple of months later he says he's ready to drop all the way down to 168 to get a meaningful fight. That move smells bad IMO.

The way I see it people can think what they want. Some seem to not know that Kessler was fighting prior to 2007. Still it's clear that his opponents since Calzaghe has been less than stellar so it's understandable if he drops off peoples radar.

If Palle wants 4 million Euro from Sauerland that confirms what I suspect - that Mogens Palle doesn't care about money and just wants to prove a point before he dies.

He's power-crazed, and people like that don't care about money unless it gives them power.

Palle would rather see Kessler's career waste away than lose control of him.

This is exactly what he did to Mads Larsen.
