Palle says he hears Kessler would make nearly 7 million in the tourney and he can't ignore that, well shoot 750K is more than 10% of that amount, what is the standard cut for a promotor anyway?

Still it's according to the websites sources but knowing Palle it doesn't sound outrageous. Looks like Palle is hardballing Sauerland.

Nevertheless it can only be a negotiating amount. Palle read danish BT.DK stating that Kessler was set to earn up to 40 mio. DKK for the entire tourney, so him demanding three quarters of that amount is insane and even more so considering that he only has 3 options at the most on Kessler. The amount, if true, must also include money from danish television rights that Palle believes Sauerland owes him from the Kessler-Beyer fight.

Does the promotor take a cut? I think the promotor offers the purse and takes the profit from the fightcard. Managers probably takes 30% and trainers 20% I would think.

LOL, I thought that Palle actually owed Sauerland money back from this financial fiaco that was Kessler vs. Beyer - it only shows that Palle got old 10 5 years ago and should have been retired...
