He's a recent KO victim coming off a lackluster performance in which he looked more like Lance Armstrong than a prize-fighter.

Exactly. There's a story behind him. There's excitement and vulnerability in this fight. If Pac were fighting Mosley I'd still be excited about the fight, just not as excited as I am about Pac fighting Cotto.

What blows my mind in all of this is that Pac v. Cotto is going to be good, it's going to be exciting, it's going to be entertaining, it's a great fight. Yet, for as good as it is there's those people out there who can't do anything but talk **** about it because they think their fighter deserves the fight more. Who cares? You get a great fight regardless.

People **** on Floyd for going after Baldomir instead of Tony..despite the fact Carlos had done more and proven more...yet Pac gets pass to fight Cotto with the more proven Shane right there waiting.
