Watch the fight the cameras can't hide the empty seats! Sorry but juanma is a great fighter but he's got to beat some people before you talk MSG.cotto & trinidad could & juanma eventually could if he bests guy like caballero & other top ranked guys.

Its almost official. Arum announced that his next fight will be versus a yet unnamed opponent at the MSG theater. Juanma will co-headline with Gamboa to begin to drum up interest for an eventual showdown. Juanma wasnt even supposed to be on that card. He did it for Arum once Pavlick had his "staph infection." After two of the other fights fell through why would it fill out? In the end Arum lost money but the PPV numebers in PR apparently were pretty good. Arum doesnt mind losing money if he knows he is going to cash in in the future.Comment

Caballero has officially make u look like a *****. U use the money excuse all too often yet u keep fighting bums. U want to take Tito Trinidad's position as an ATG in PR yet u are running away from opposition looking for easy fight calling Vazquez out whom is not really paying much attention to u. He(vazquez) mentions u every now and then just to get exposure but is not interested at the moment in fighting with ya, he's more interested in marquez AGAIN.
Your concern for money WILL become your downfall, because when u finally fight someone who will actually fight u back u won't know what to do. In Boxing u go up the ranks, get some money for those fights anyways, u fight the big names and get ur legacy on the roll and the big money fights WILL come regardless. PACQUIAO anybody?

I have to say that you are dead-on! I never got why Juanma is asking for big $$$ fights when he should worry about getting exposure first. The Caballero excuse is ****** because us puertoricans know who he is and it would sell out in MSG, especially if Gamboa is in the same card. You'll have all the puertoricans, panamanians and cubans in NY buying tickets. Add a dominican like Joan Guzman who lives in NY and you know it's a guaranteed sellout!

co-sign. Here's hoping Arum is just establishing leverage before making the fight. The war of words alone would help sell the fight beyond hardcore boxing fans. If Juanma moves on before fighting Caballero he will be tainted. And thats coming from a full-on Juanma fan who has been following him for years.I have to say that you are dead-on!
