The thing about Morales and a lot of boxers is they have tremendous self belief despite proof to the contrary.
What propelled Morales to the top is still with him, he honestly thinks he can win, despite declining skills.

Self belief and love for the sport making them go on way longer than they should. And the money and cheers don't hurt either.

Wat? i know Amir is hardly the greatest atm but he is only 21 or something and if he beats Klot (who beat madina spelling?) for the title, he have world title belt aint nothing to sniff at really..

Not saying he will beat Klot either but if he does i think people need to give him some credit if he does. Morales wants a shot at a title and he might just do with the state of Khan's chin.
