Other then Mosley, who was quoted not wanting Pwill, I am having a hard time believing he finds it hard to get fights Danny. I do believe a lot of fighters at 147 are going to avoid his physical advantages. He should stick to 154, clean it up, which I do believe he is very capable of and look up to 160. Sorry man , I ain't buying the hype of him at 168. He gets hurt at SMW.

We can agree with the 2 year layoff but who fault is that? Not PW and new that was coming. Winky did what he always do nothing different. Same with clottey but not a 2 year, maybe 10. They before they step in the ring coming off a long layoff. Should have taking a toon up.

no, it has to do with his obsession with getting big names before he's one of them

he prefers to beat old guys instead of trying to build his resume and get fans by fighting young guys going up just like him

quintana wanted a 3rd match, so why not give it to him? it'd settle things once and for all

why didn't he put himself in the top rank of one of the commissions so he could get another title shot? it's not cotto's or mosley's fault that he lost his only title defense? he hasn't even defended his title at 154

he doesn't have credibility until he defends a belt at any weight. it sounds ****** to say he NEEDS that before having a shot against bigger names, but that's the way it is. he's no golden boy, so he has to work to get to the top

do you honestly think that he's done enough with his career at this point to warrant a mega fight?

oh yeah i agree with what your saying 168 he would probs get his arse handed to him, i think hes a very good fighter but hes not that good maybe he could be one day who knows, as for 147 i think he could probably beat almost everyone there, i dont he will clean up at 154 and go to 160 where theres more money

williams knows that winky is old and way past his prime

williams knows that winky was coming off a loss

williams knows that winky was coming off a 2 year layoff

is any of those his fault? not at all, but it's his damn fault that he keeps marketing himself as the most feared opponent while there are lots of options out there for him

you can't expect mosley, cotto, floyd, etc to take the bait if you're still a nobody in terms of drawing power

look at it this way. you have a hundreds of thousands of fans. you've been in tons of mega fights. you've defended titles a dozen times. suddenly, two people challenge you. one guy has a padded record and is a bum of your size, and the other one is a guy that beat a top champ and has half a foot of height and reach over you, but lost his only title defense. neither of them as any drawing power, so both fights would leave you the same amount of money

who would you fight between them?

i'll leave you with that, i'm drooling on my keyboard lol. good night and think about it. there's really no sense in fighting pwill when he sells even less than gomez or baldomir. if pwill REALLY wants to be in mega fights, he better work on his resume and work his way up. beating margo just to lose his next fight isn't the way, but he's young and can work on that again

paul has mediocre skills and only his height and size wins him fights.

at 160 and 168 those advantages would be even less.
I agree, Paul ain't **** without his freak size advantage.

He is a good fighter, but just a tad overrated. Saying nobody wants to fight him while taking on the likes of the examples already provided and passing on a fight with Clottey is ridiculous though. I'm positive he can beat mostly anyone from 147 to 154, but anything higher and his chin is possibly a bit suspect with the harder hitters.

If he and his camp really wanted to make the big fights, they can get done. He can easily travel over to Europe and start tangling with the best at 160 and above. But in typical american fashion, they're all yap and expect everyone to come to them.
