Imagine if Chambers had power. Arreola though if in shape is the best U.S.A. hope at this point.

Chambers has power, he hurt Peter and Povetkin, and knocked down Dimitrenko twice. No he doesn't have power like Peter and some other heavyweights, but he has enough power to hurt you. His weakness is that he's a small heavyweight.

Saying that Johnson is the best American heavyweight is nonsense because he hasn't proven that, and beating a C level out of shape Olympian doesn't really stack your claim.

Quick side note... it cracks me up that your avatar of someone you like is doing his best to impersonate #3 on your clown for pound list... that actually looks like the Winky defense, and I would be over the moon to find a picture of Winky doing his defense in such a photogenic fashion.

Anyway, I do think Johnson would beat Chambers, and I think Povetkin would beat him in a rematch.

Povetkin has the style that causes Chambers to shell up and just take punches without throwing back... that is why Chambers would do much better against Wladimir than Vitali (both efforts would be completely futile).

Johnson just seems like he has the tools from what I've seen. I don't know exactly how the match plays or or anything like that... I just think Johnson is merely the better fighter overall and the bout would reflect that.

Johnson has all the tools. His weakness has been a promoter who doesn't get him the fights he needs. Chambers and Arreola have the advantage of having a good promoter in Dan Goossen.

I think it's Arreola, Johnson or Chambers.

Chambers has a better resume than Arreola, but Chris had a lot of early KOs. Johnson is very good, but he has yet to fight a top 20 heavyweight.

Since I think Arreola beats Chambers, I picked him.

Dawson isn't impersonating Winky, he's just doing a high guard defense which he did throughout the first fight against Tarver.

No offense DWiens, that's a terrible anaylsis, Chambers would have a better shot against the Klitschko's brothers than Povektin? You need to watch Chambers-Povetkin and you will see how much Chambers improved compared to that fight. He's been improving since he lost to Povetkin. As for Johnson, we'll see, and Chambers might fight Johnson next for a stay-busy fight because he is not going to fight Wlad right away.

H2H I think Chambers would outscore everyone on that list, but Arreola is definitelly the most exciting fighter and the one who's getting the public attention.
