No point to even discuss the American HWs. They died out in the 90's generation.
Real talk right there but in that list, I'll say Eddie Chambers easily. Eddie to me...doesn't belong at H.W. He is more of a C.W but I can seeing him doing alot at H.W. Still, I don't see anyone beating Vitali or Wlad, unless Vitali or Wlad fight eachother. I do know that, Haye has the speed and power to land on Wlad's chin, he has a good chance but it isn't a good one.

You're wrong: Chambers, Arreola, Johnson are very good fighters and deserve more respect than you're giving them.
Arreola isn't disciplined, I love the guy, great character but being in that kind of shape isn't gonna get him far. He doesn't make the division any stronger. Chambers is a really good boxer, great speed, head movement but he is too small. Chambers is more a natural C.W.

It is a weak era. The HW division is prone to weak eras. Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko aren't weak Champions and they could compete in any era but that doesn't mean it isn't a weak era compared to some of the past eras.

So are you telling we should prop up a division all the time no matter what?
In that case, there has never been a weak era even in comparing other eras.

Either you are trying to over-hype them or you have very low standards. Which one is it?

NO, ALL THE AMERICANS ARE WEAK COMPARED TO THE PAST FIGHTERS.

I like Povetkin. Solid fighter. But you need a bigger depth in the division to say it isn't weak.

Oh, and by the way, I'm from Philly, same city Chambers fights out of and I'm still not sold on him.

Damn John Ruiz is ten times the fighter Arreola is, he accomplished more and proved himself against Chagaev. Arreola would take a dive against Chaga.

Eddie Chambers is the "greatest" ( ahahah) american fighter out there, and i'm pretty sure about it. I could bet my best friend's life on it.
He's the best american heavyweight since Shannon Briggs so far.

It might actually be Deontay Wilder... time will tell.

Travis Walker would be the best if he had a chin on him.

I would guess Kevin Johnson with Eddie Chambers as a close second. I do think Chambers will always have trouble with pressure fighters, and that will eventually be his undoing.

Eddie Chambers would be the only one on this list that can actually beat Johnny Ruiz legitimately so I would say him

Johnson is probably the most talented, and he's the right size for a heavyweight, unlike Chambers. He needs to get a better promoter though, the one he has is holding him back.

Johnson must have done something right when he fought Vargas.

It was pretty difficult to find a fighter that you looked down on more before that fight, and he turned it all around. He sold himself to me in that fight too.

But... long story short, American heavyweights are just awful.
