From a fan of the sport it make it more compelling if he beats the guy who beats the guy. To my knowledge Diaz wasn't that guy, he fought a blown up Moralas who was on the decline of his career. DE LA was a dehydrated old man. that's what the consensus is, it doesn't make for a good fight... he dispatched them with ease like he is supposed to.

DE LA and DIAZ I would consider gatekeeper champs the weakest representation in their division at that time. is it clean now? And Mosley is the guy who beat the guy... why fight Cotto cause he is considered by Roach to be an easier fight... or am i wrong?
