He earned it by getting W's against Clottey Mosely & the fact that he has a loyal fan base and is a real WW. I will say it outright I don't think he won either fight convincingly enough IMO, but that doesnt matter he still got the W's and is still a real WW that fought real WW's and not half dead weight drained fighters that Floyd already smashed. Cotto has too much to lose to get ****ed on every detail of this fight.

Cotto dosen't deserve no more than 20% of the purse. Cotto is a great boxer but he's going to get KO by Pacquiao. As I've mentioned before Cotto hasn't earned no more than 5 million in a fight and by accepting 20% of the purse plus PPV he can earn at least 5 to 6 million fighting Pacquiao. A-HAAAAA

I agree on that point but Pacman winning against De La Hoya & RICKY don't justify him getting every possible factor in his favor either. If the fight happens Cotto should atleast get one thing in his favor, just one. Godamn his title the money his rep all on the line and what is Pacman risking? jone2ts your exactly right i can't argue at all with that post. I"m a big cotto fan and he shouldn't have to do all this that roach wants. Cotto deserves more then this he has fought many wars and close battles. He deserves a big pay day at least 55-45 if not 60-40 and cotto should be able to wax that ass at the garden point blank. Roach and pac have like u said manipulated this with catchweights. My friends aren't the big boxing fans like I am and they think pac is some fregin boxing god he isn't he would lose to floyd, and lose to mosley and would lose to cotto.
