you know what boxing should do?
they should do as promoters do when you go to a show with a few bands playing in it..
they should ask when purchasing the PPV or ticket who are they there to see and then pay the fighters accordingly.

Floyd did 325K vs. Carlos Baldomir. Floyd would have done just fine vs. Casamayor for the Ring belt. Trust me.

Better yet, Cotto and Juanma sell out Arenas in Caguas, wich is a small City.

hell Grand Rapids is bigger than PR, in actuall size.

Again it doesnt matter where you from, id you are good and a big star, you should sell out a arena in your hometown

Its funny most will agree that it takes two to get good PPV numbers, if thats true then why bring up Floyd/Baldy? Besides that fight generated over 16 million in PPV revenue. Im sure HBO was very happy.

I would hope they are there to see both fighters as it is a one on one boxing match.

If one has to get the bigger cit it should be Floyd, but I just think for most event it should be something like 40/40 the winner gets 20. It doesn't affect me in the slightest though so what do I care...

Dude, Puerto Rico is immersed in boxing. You couldn't pay that many Americans to care about boxing.

Actually, he is comparing hometown to hometown..
Cotto can sell out his hometown in minutes.
                    Mayweather can't do the same.
