no proof on the 3,000 tkt sales..and come on jmm isnt a bigger draw then floyd...the fact is people wanted floyd to fight a real challenge and that just isnt jmm.......people str8 up boycotted this fight plain and simple.....floyd worst ppv did more than all jmm's ppv's put together...oops jmm never had one outside of pacman

actually he did, barrea-marquez, marquez-casamayor were on ppv. and he was slated to be golden boys next mexican ppv attraction when they signed him but jmms luck screwed him over. marquez-jaca and marquez-juarez were supposed to be on ppv but jaca had last minute problems with his visa so it ended up on boxing after dark. marquez's hand got a nasty infection that everyone saw in the juarez training so it ended up on showtime. poor marquez, if it wasnt for all this bad luck and bad promotion by top rank and bad management, he could have done so much more in his younger days.

so in conclusion, he should have headlined 5 ppv's.

Youre misinformed about the sales, I heard different, that it sold well. How come Marquez has never gotten paid as much as he is against Floyd? Why didnt he make this much against Pac? Boxers are more concerned about PPV numbers over live gate since they pay more, besides did you check out the live gate for Floyd/Oscar?
