There's a lot at stake here. If Chambers wins, he will have a title shot at Wlad and be widely regarded as the best American heavyweight. If Dimitrenko wins, he will have proven beyond doubt he is a worthy heavyweight contender and will have a world title fight with Wlad.

Can Chambers win? Can a 6'1" man defeat a 6'7" man?

The answer is yes, it is possible! Jack Dempsey dominated Jess Willard. Ruslan Chagaev defeated Nicolay Valuev. Sultan Ibragimov outboxed Shannon Briggs. And remember, Chambers has stopped several bigger men in the past, such as Derek Rossy and Raphael Butler.

Chambers has the advantage in speed and technical skills, while Dimitrenko has an edge in reach (83" to 75") and power (65% KO percentage compared to 51%).

    Interesting matchup!
are you praying the black guy losses?

No, I hope the best man wins!

I like both fighters, although neither is one of my favorites. I'm not rooting too hard for either.

If Chambers wins, he'll perhaps fight Wlad in the US, and if it's in Vegas, I'll go to it (lots of inexpensive flights and minivacations to Vegas from Vancouver).

I think it's an interesting matchup, and the result will answer some questions about each fighter.

What's Dimitrenko's jab like? When you're that much taller if you have a good jab it's going to be very difficult for the shorter man to get inside and do some damage. Anyway Chambers looks like he could make cruiserweight easily.

I hope it turns out to be a good fight. Always fun watching David vs Goliat match-ups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got $200 on Chambers to win $700.

I figure he has about a 40% chance of winning so at 3.5-1 it's worth the risk.

Stream would be appreciated as well if anyone has it.

can you hook me up with a stream Tunney?

Dimitrenko is #1 in WBO correct? So is WBO making him fight Chambers or would he have fought Klitschko no matter who he fought but decided to face Chambers rather than a chump?
