Umm, PAC had a swollen shut eye against Juanita both times and when he got beat by EM the first time they fought, if PAC would've quit in all those fights. What do all you haters be saying about PAC, uh huh , that's right.
    plenty of fighters quit.

most just don't do it as obvious as ortiz did.

whether it's just to ball up on the ropes or in the corner , getting up a second too late , being non responsive to a ref's or doctor's questions......

as long as a fighter tries and gives it all he has i have no problems with them quitting.

****** macho **** in boxing that doesn't give fighters the option of quitting is why there's so many deaths and brain damage in boxing.

why are you comparing a 22 year old prospect to pacquiao? not to mention ortiz was not half as experienced as pac was in the first jmm fight. people are giving ortiz too much ****. too much **** for a 22 year old. this guy is some one who was under alot of pressure, and i mean ALOT. all the media and fans were stuffing pressure up his ass left and right. headlining an hbo card at the staples at only 22. ****s crazy. hes only human and he looked like he was clearly done in that sixth round, he just let the ref know before he got knocked out. he was in a loose loose situation anyways, if he would have continued and "gone out on his shield", people would be on here making threads about how victor ortiz will never be the same, the next vargas so to speak. as for the post fight interview, alot of thoughts and emotions could have been running through his head with everything jumbled up in a conclusion of the past months and that night. he came out correcting himself afterwards and said he did not mean any of it and that he will be back. besides, did he not give us a great fight while it lasted? i mean he clearly was there to fight, the whole fight they were throwing nothing but bombers back and forth. 5 knockdowns in the 6 rounds that it lasted.
