I have a question for Benny St and all the Victoria Ortiz supporters

Since y'all thought it was okay for Victor Ortiz to "preserve" himself.

Well, when is it the right time for Vicky to take punishment, lol????

If he's so concerned about his brain cells, well, he's in the wrong motherf**king sport!

Maybe he needs to jump into MMA, they have the tapout option, hehe.

RJJ and DLH comes from the same school of thought that Ortiz has. And they couldn't get away from it.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., is the one who got away. But, something is eating Floyd up besides the IRS, in the hearts of hearts, Floyd knows there's something missing in his boxing career. And it gnaws at him just like his $6 million IRS bill.

When you've never truly put yourself up to the challenge it eats away at ya, and I really think Floyd is going through this right now. That's why he wants come back, to get rid of that gnawing feeling that he didn't do enough in his career, he knows that 0 is a lie!!

In a perfect world, Victor Ortiz would go through his boxing career unscathed, win a championship and drive off to the sunset. Reality is a b*tch!

RJJ/Oscar has both fought top prime American fighters. While Manny Duckman list of ducking grows day by day.

Manny Duckman is a fraud. Willingly to fight declining fighter at a unhealthy weight.

If Pacman dare to fought Campbell/Bradley/Williams/Mayweather/Mosley/Berti. He would have extra 6 losses. Arum is protecting Pacman against the big bad Americans

I think you embody what BennyST was talking about. You, being the unaccomplished, know nothing psuedo blogger, ripping on 3 olympians, Floyd mayweather, roy jones jr and oscar de la hoya. Exclaiming they havent "been challanged". These men are legends in the sport and will all be shoo-ins for the hall of fame. But who are you? What have you accomplished? What belt do you hold?

I tend to think that you personify his point. Ortiz was the one taking the beating, he knew when enough was enough, even if it wasnt enough for you. When you take your first fight on HBO, or your first fight on UFC or Strike Force or whatever the ***, then you will be justified to tell us what its like to come up short on the big stage, or triumph on it, but since you havent been on it, why dont you just shut your ****in trap.

Oscar De La Hoya and Roy Jones both have had hall of fame careers. So, I really don't know what you're trying to prove with the comparisons. Not to mention that Ortiz is 22 and DOES have time to rebound. Whether he will or wont. Robert Guerrero did in ONE fight, and Vitali Klitschko did it with a consistent career. It can happen, much weirder things have.

Fact of the matter is, he decided to quit. OKay. It happens. It's not about if you quit. It's about what you do after that.

Umm, buddy, I don't claim to be a world-class fighter. But, I feel good enough to say, I have an idea and can relate, here's why...

I was a former amateur boxer/kickboxer. I have fought in a venue called the Cow Palace, it seats 11,000. But the crowd attendance when I fought was roughly 8,000 about the same size that showed up just to watch Victoria quit! I have fought twice in front of a Thai crowd, which in my opinion is the smartest fight crowd and I received nothing but loud cheers and praised for showing that "fighting spirit" something Victoria lacked.

No major networks where involved in any of my fights, but a big crowd is a big crowd, an unpleasant crowd is an unpleasant crowd. I warm up just how a pro warms up, I throw a hook, an uppercut, a straight punch, just not at the pro level. So, yeah, I may not be a world-class athlete. But pressure is pressure! A win is a win. Getting punched in the face is getting punched in the face!

I wanna ask y'all this, has Victor Ortiz, De La Joto, RJJ and Floyd Mayweather taken kicks from world-class Muay Thai fighters?

Believe me when I say this, a 135lb Elite Muay Thai fighter's kicks are alot harder than a Tito left hook or an RJJ laser right-hand!!

It's not so much a comparison but an analogy between Victoria and De La Joto, RJJ, etc...

DLH and RJJ have the accomplishments, but, it's the way they fought under pressure that's where I find the similarities. Their demeanor, the way they handled themselves in the ring when the tough got goin' for them. That to me tells me more about what type of fighter one is, rather than going off a f**kin' resume.

It's so easy to build a great looking resume. But it's not so easy to hide in that ring when the tough get goin'. When things don't go right, it's how you react to doomsday.

So, you're a big, tough fighter eh? Yet, you are bagging other guys that go into a ring without gloves or anything willing to get seriously ****ed up in MMA?

Go home mate, no one wants to listen to your crap. Let me guess, is this some thread, like your other post, designed to call guys like Jones Jr and Oscar '***** quitters' and yet call Pac the greatest tough guys ever? **** off!

How is Jones a quitter or whatever? The guy got ruined at 36 and still comes back fighting top guys trying to get it back! You have the balls to call him a quitter? As El Jesus said, you embody the piece of ****e that other thread was directed at.

Oh wait, let me guess, because you think you're a big, tough fighter it allows you to call a guy who faced the very best from 130 up to 160 and with a resume that trumps anyone fighting today, a quitter who never took any hurting and at the first sign of it, which you no doubt think was against Pac, he quit? Jesus Christ!

Where do these people come from?

                  **** thread.

ortiz was bleeding over one eye and his other eye was swollen shut.

i'm sure he was exhausted as well.

if he wanted to quit , it's on him. he knows more that anyone if he has had enough.

what was the alternative? make it to the end of the round and hope your corner stops it i.e. oscar?

                  same ****.

Imagine if Victoria hung on like Maidana. We wouldn't be having this discussion would we? It was quite obvious who was the more talented/skilled/powerful fighter was. But who came out on top?

Umm, PAC had a swollen shut eye against Juanita both times and when he got beat by EM the first time they fought, if PAC would've quit in all those fights. What do all you haters be saying about PAC, uh huh , that's right.
