I don't think 15 pounds of fat is what kept him on his feet against Povetkin and Peter.
His punch resistance will not be affected at all by the drop in weight, in fact it may be even better because he will be in better condition to take punches late in the fight.Comment

I have seen Dimitrenko hurt badly to the body a couple times.
Problem is that Chambers is a head hunter and I don't see his exposing that particular weakness.
That being said, if this fight goes Chambers way I think it will be very one sided with Dimitrenko getting badly outboxed, getting frustrated and getting picked apart all night.
It would be very hard to rob him if it goes off like that.Comment

bloody hell - he still looks more than a little bit soft!!!
imo CW is definently the division for this guy
the loss in weight shouldn't affect his ability to take punches, it may actually help because he will be in better condition later on in the fight and maybe his reflexes will sharpen up as well so he might be able to roll with punches. his balance should also be better as he won't be as top heavy, so maybe he will have better footowrk and be set for counter's.Comment

There are a lot of people around this site who think that any heavyweight weighing 220 or less should just become a cruiserweight champion instead.
I want Chambers to win if for no other reason than to show people that size isn't the most important thing in a fight.
If Billy Conn could go toe to toe with Joe Louis there is nothing stopping Eddie Chambers from beating the piss out of an completely unproven Dimirenko.Comment
