mak and i are currently involved in a post war about marc gasol and andrew bynum in the lounge.

he thinks i'm crazy for rather having marc gasol than andrew bynum.
Bynom doesn't deserve his pay IMO. He more or less is a tremendous disappointment.

The uppercut is a punch that I hardly ever see Pacquiao use. That's why Juan Manuel Marquez is a bad style match up for Cotto in my view. I think Pacquiao-Cotto is a winnable fight for Cotto even though I'm picking Pacquiao to beat him.

Hell no. Pacman is a straight-head hunter. Meaning he only throws straight and only aims for the head. Cotto wont have much trouble with that unless he becomes coal and gets pressed into diamond.

            Its winnable if:

Cotto could land just a FEW punches to the body,

Cotto times pac before his flurry, or after he overextends on his last punch, pac can be hurt, especially by a guy like cotto but...

I Feel margarito took alot out of cotto, i just dont know about his punch resistence at this point.

Ive seen him throw uppercuts with his fight against the
              Thai, "Narongrit 'Fashung' Pirang ".

              But lately... no.

but I believe if the situation call, I know he can
              pull it off.

Im gonna go out and say they wont use an uppercut in this fight because the so called left hand uppercut people claim pac is gonna use is just a set up for cotto's money punch. Cotto crouches against taller opponents and I doubt he will against pac. With Pac using the uppercut he better work throwing and either getting away or cover up because if he misses his body is open for cottos deadly left to the body.

so no pac doesnt use it often but roach finds another punch that will give cotto problems.

Manny's brutal upper cut once sent an opponent flying in the air reminiscent of a foreman punch against smokin' joe. The problem is that cotto is a taller fighter. However you ever wonder how manny played with the taller dela hoya's head? it boggles the mind but manny seems like plastikman punching the taller hoya at will in the head.

Yes and that's a very big if because I think pac will be extra cautious against miguel so that he will be gone before cotto reacts.

If cotto can time pac before his flurry, we'll still have to see how pac reacts to cotto's money punch. Can cotto take pac out with one punch or will it be accumulation of punches? Your guess is as good as mine.
