Pelenchin targets Juanma!
IBF/WBA super bantamweight champion champion Celestino Caballero has demanded a showdown with WBO champion Juan Manuel Lopez. “I understand the business of boxing and I know that Lopez’ promoter has a plan for him that involves everybody but me,” said Caballero. “But if what I believe is true, Lopez wants more than easy fights; he wants to be the best in the world. The only way he can leave the super bantamweight division as the best is to beat me. There’s a lot of talk of Lopez being the next Wilfredo Gomez. Well, Lopez has to remember that Gomez didn’t move up to featherweight until he cleaned out everyone at 122 pounds. I guess we’ll find out soon if Lopez has ‘Bazooka’s fighting spirit. I traveled to Canada to beat Molitor, to Venezuela to beat (Lorenzo) Parra, Thailand to beat (Somsak) Sithchatchawal, and California to beat (Daniel) Ponce De Leon. To be a true world champion you must fight around the world, even if it means going to your opponent’s backyard. I will go to Puerto Rico to fight Lopez with no problem, and by the end of the fight, the fans will be cheering me when my hand is raised.”

hahaha that flavor got lost in translation bro...This is a lie, he didn't say this. Pelenchin does not know how to pronounce Sithchatchawal, if he really woulda reffered to he woulda called him 'el tailandes' or some **** like that. This **** is on point though, bringing up Bazooka is smart.
CC been going hard at Juanma though, I was at Dan Rafael's last chat where Bob Arum was answering questions. And I sent a question about if he's gonna try to make a fight between Lopez and Caballero, **** didn't even get posted. Juanma is getting embarrassed.
He could probably get a date on Showtime or a better number of buys than usual for his ppv cards with this fight headlining.Comment

Yea, it is embarasing, he should let him fight and hell do it in PR. Arum can buy the judges. and if CC beats him bad all the fans will know that Juanma is not that good. This is a lie, he didn't say this. This is the exact way I feel. I want to see this fight and it would be a great one at that plus provide the proof needed to see if Juanma is the real stuff.I agree 100% I am not sold on Juanma yet but everybody is hyping him up and there a guy that really wants to test him. 1 loss early in a career is not a big deal.
But I think your also Right about Arum, he is trying to cash in early on Juanma.. I would pay to see them fight. hell I paid for the BS lochite or whatever his name was.Comment
