      ok

This is a decent fight, but I'd rather see Pac vs PBF. If Pac wins it will be a great win for him, especially after seeing Cotto in his last fight it's a good possibility. If he loses he has a built in excuse that Cotto was too big. If Cotto loses everyone will say he is not the same fighter since the Margarito fight. If Cotto wins, he still will not be the #1 P4P fighter, as much as the Cotto fans want him to be. He has been way to shaky in 2 consecutive major WW fights, plus by then Mayweather will have had a fight and will be universally recognize by experts as #1.

        1. golden boy is not involved in this because pacquiao is not fighting a gbp fighter which he has the last 4 of his 5 fights.

        2. floyd would much prefer pac , so if cotto wins who knows if that fight would get made , whereas floyd would jump at a chance to fight pacquiao.

        3. marquez has to be rooting for cotto if he losses to floyd. if pacquiao wins it's doubtful he could get a 3rd fight with pacquiao and no way should a fight be made between cotto and juanma.

        4. mosley would fight whoever wins but the winner will have the option of a fight with floyd.

        5. imagine if cotto-pac becomes a foty level close fight. what if these 2 rematch or have a trilogy? everyone named above would be screwed.
        very logical, mr. pink!!!
and mayweather will be screwed the most.
i do hope manny and miguel will fyt a very close competitive one that will necessitate a rematch.
both are real warriors in the strickest sense!!
we dont want to pay-watch boring, back-pedalling counterpunchers!!!
they can have their technical skills and savvy,...and we'll go for the action-packed 'dance of our lifetime"!!!

a floydfan who have strayed in here......
your floyd will be nowhere near the great fyts that are and will happen for the next year.
floyd had the chance before.....now he salivates and just fyt his tune-ups.
he could have man-up long time ago.
floyd's shine is not that lustruous anymore.....blame him!!

Shocking that Pacquiao is holding this thing up, just like the DLH and Hatton fights. I sure hope there's no drama with this negotiation like this...especially since this is an in-house, 100% Top Rank deal. He always talks about being confident in his promoter, so I am optimistic, but who knows...

It's just negotiations...It's how the game works Arum knows this.

Why do you thin Arum went to the media with this...Arum is playing the game too.

Now the fans will start to yammer and it puts pressure on Manny to sign...It's all punch and counter punch at the negotiating table.

Maybe the problem lies with the WBO belt. The fight might not happen if the belt's not on the line.
