Chris Arreola vs. John Ruiz: who would win?

    How would this one go?

Would Ruiz use his illegal holding tactics to immobilize Arreola, or would Arreola knock him out?

Surprising enough, at this point that would be an interesting fight. If Arreola can't handle an aging Ruiz now, he's not a real contender.

depends on what Ruiz has left; despite what people say about his style, he has a wicked shot, that short right hand that he sometimes throws out of a clench. would be a good test for Cristobal especially since he's there to hit.

Yes, Ruiz would be the perfect test for Arreola, Kevin Johnson or Haye.

Remember the pre-Tua Ruiz who could actually move around the ring and stay fairly active? That John Ruiz would probably beat Arreola. Today, he'd get knocked out. The fact that he's over the hill does not help.

We might have a chance to see those matches if Ruiz wasn't always the ****ing WBA's mandatory contender.

Ruiz has a habit of making people fight his fight. And a tired out of shape, Arreola could fall into his trap.
It's quite possible Ruiz with his savvy wins a ud on skill and being very cagey.

Ruiz has fought punchers before and only bit it against one of them.

I think Ruiz wins if it goes past 4 or 5 rounds.

I think a prime Ruiz beats today's Arreola.

Not so sure about the 2009 Ruiz.
