At 140, I'll go with Hatton. Not talking after Mayweather but before Mayweather.

    At 147, Cotto by K.O.

I hate to discredit all his wins cause I think it's a douche thing to do but...It is what it is.

I don't know if you guys remember correctly but Cotto was a wrecking ball at 140.

Yea he was chinny at the weight...But recent revalations as to the strength of Hatton's chin makes it an easy prediction.

Cotto has been rocked at 147 but never K.O and the only time he went down it was more of a push.

while i dont really want to get into it as its been done to death, I'm going to anyway, im bored!
i agree philips was super past it, not a great win, but a good one concidering the level ricky was fighting at at the time.
Kostya was a GREAT win. He demolished the next best fighter in the division in 3 rds 6 months before he fought ricky. Past prime, but only just.
Urango gave Berto one hell of a fight at 147. He is better than people give him credit for
Maussu - lol i agree, but he was a champ.
Castillo - couldnt agree more on what u said. the KO was impressive though.

I'm not trying to say Ricky is/was a great. but was was a damn good fighter and the only person he should have fought and didnt was Witter, and he fought Castillo instead. Smart move, more money and US exposure, and an easier fight. The level of competition might not have been great, but its the best there was available (bar Witter). in this day in age theres not many fighters out there who continually fight the best competition. Love or hate Ricky, u have to respect that.
