i chose cotto but i feel people are judging hatton through his pac fight. i remembered posters were saying he would beat cotto before that fight. one thing cotto doesn't have is extreme speed, so this would end up being a brawl and hatton would make a fight of it. different styles makes fights and i think this would be competitive.
thats how i know you are biased. how do you ruin hatton worse than how pac did?
Give him a sustained beating over 8 rounds of boxing...leaving him a bloody mes with a couple face fractures a broken nose and leaving the right side of his face unrecognizable to loved ones.

pacquiao left him unconcious for ten minutes. he was almost half dead.

PS: How many times was Hatton knocked down in the 43 fights previous to Mayweather? A glass chinned bum would have been down plenty wouldn't he?
Prime Hatton at 140 would win a UD or late TKO against Cotto, at 147 the fight would be baised Cotto's way as Hatton was never comfortable there. (in these times of fighters trying to get others weight drained or staying in their comfort zone, why does Hatton never get any props for fighting Mayweather @ww when he knew it wasn't his best weight?)
Maybe some people shouldn't comment on a fighters career when they've only seen his last 4 fights?

Nobody say anything bad about Hatton...He's the greatest...He beat an old Zoo and JLC ...O yea and Paulie...He's a HoF'er for sure.
I think prime hatton can beat cotto
hatton is pretty good to using clinch and sometimes cotto showed terrible movement when his opponent was trying to clinch.
yeah I thought hatton never beat cotto but my mind is changed
IMO hatton win by UD
The Hatton that got KTFO against Hatton that was prime Hatton. Just because he got KTFO doesn't mean he's shot just that he was never that good. Cotto would probably murder Hatton since Cotto likes to take his time Hatton would probably last 5 brutal one sided rounds, Cotto would beat him senseless.
