I dunno, coming from a Pacquiao fan, i'm more concerned with the Cotto/Pacquiao scheduling than the Mayweather negotiations. If Pacquiao ever gets to fight Mayweather, it'd be a highly energetic fight. Pacquiao would Mayweather to fight, and Mayweather would force Pacquiao to box.
Mayweather is a supreme ultimate boxer. That includes: being able to adjust, move, not get hit, counter, fight backwards, Jab, and fight. Mayweather has got all those things, and more. However, on the flip side, you've got a fighter/puncher with increasing boxing skill and blinding speed who may be as fast if not faster than Mayweather.
Fo show i'd pay to see that fight. The chances of a KO in that fight are slim, IMO. I think Pacquiao has a strong enough chin to take Mayweather's one hitter quitters. Mayweather does have a chin, but it might be susceptible to a southpaw with a good punch. But who knows?
Cotto on the other hand is a different story. Say what you want about Cotto, but Clottey is waaay bigger and perhaps stronger than Pacquiao; just not as fast.Comment
