theres one thing to consider...

the weight limit of the heavyweights has changed as have the size of its fighters in the division.

it was rare to see a 6'7 250lb heavyweight in the 50's and 60's when some of the fighters you're referring to reigned supreme. so you have to take that into account.

some "heavyweights" of the the 50's and 60's wouldnt be heavyweights if they were fighting today.

i dont care what tournament you create ali, marciano, louis, frazier, etc. are all getting out of the first round.

bullsh.it it depends on who their matched up against, not one of those guys can beat IBEUCHI OR somebody like TUA, Ali might could beat TUA because he'll jab and run, marciano frazier louis flat footed style gets them knocked out early to mid rounds

you think some of these out-of-shape, hairy, fatf*ks could really outbox some of the greatest boxers of we've been blessed to see (whether it be live for some of the old timers out there or for most of us younger people; on replays)???

yeah; standing next to each other valuev would look towering and intimidating to most fans because of the size advantage for valuev (height and weight) but when you break down the skills and advantages other than size and power (generated by that size of a man...being 7ft and who knows how many lbs he is these days) all the advantages go to ali. that includes footspeed, handspeed, speed in general, defense, boxing ability, technique, defense, etc. ALL in ali's favor.

Ali's speed was overrated, people said he was fast because he ran around the ring, holyfield and tyson (small heavyweights) had faster hands. Ali had great defense? ali was very very hitable, he did have a good chin though. Leaning on the ropes holding isn't good defense!

so unless valuev just paints ali with a good one he never sees coming ali's winning the fight.

lewis is an ATG no question...vitali is a lot more hype than he is skill and wlad im not 100% sold on...i mean he is incredibly smart...disciplined and steamrolls majority of his opponents but until someone reallys tests him at HW i cant say for sure.

you don't have to be 'sold' on WLAD, the man jabs harder then most heavyweights throw straight right hands. he hits like a mac truck, those so called 'old time greats' has never felt the power of the likes of WLAD or Vitali. You act has if Wlad is new on the scene, did you just start watching boxing last year?

you would be taken more seriously if you thought lewis was the greatest hw of all time rather than including vitali...what a joke. he doesnt break the top 64 heavyweights of all time to even get in your makebelieve tournament so how does he make it to the top 3???haha.
