Who is better skilled Cotto or Marquez?

i get what you're saying.Dude what are you talkin about this is your thread you should read all the posts.
Marquez is more of a complete fighter which I have stated. Its close but Marquez is just more well rounded than Cotto.
Cotto is more devestating im opinion. Look at what he does to his opponents after I mean Malignaggi had to have reconstructive surgery, CQuintana was busted up and body wrecked, Even Margarito looked like frankenstein.
I do think even though marquez is better he doesnt have a better chance at beating pacquiao than Cotto does.
I dont think Marquez has enough pop to finish Pac But Cotto does and COttos aggressive boxer puncger style is catered to a small pacquiao who wont be able to take the power. marquez gives pacquiao too much time and room to recover which made the difference in their fight
my comment is that it has nothing to do with skills.
cotto may ktfo pac this november. pac might still be able to beat jmm.
but it doesn't mean anything as far as skill. when cotto beats pac it's because he's much stronger and bigger.
jmm is the more skilled fighter. i don't understand how the cotto guys can say cotto is.Comment

overall prime v. prime skill sets its probably JMM.
cotto has had some great moments where i've been so impressed i thought he was on his way to becoming the next p4p champ or defeating mayweather; etc.
at welter i thought he was going to be the top dog and be a dominant fighter in that division.
he appeared to have had it all...
but recently i've seen some inconsistant behavior that makes me feel a little uneasy about voting for him in terms of skill.
once he moved up from 140 he was a power house...just a whirlwind of a fighter. winning a close fight with mosley in an impressive fashion (he fought mosley's fight for the most part and still won...showed his best performance in terms of boxing ability, defense and counter punching and body work)...
that carried into the margarito fight...for the first half of the fight he really took it to margarito; beating him to the punch, countering BEAUTIFULLY, using his speed, using the ring (not as good as i would have liked to have seen he did a lot of running and dancing just wasting energy but showed good foot movement and hand speed)...
ever since that half of the fight he's been inconsistant compared to what i've seen in the past examples i've explained (ie. against mosley and margarito).
against jennings and clottey he still looked good but not AS good as he was.
im not sure if its problems with his camp, improper training, or what but he's changed since that margarito fight.
anyone else agree?Comment
