  • Abraham vs Bute Unlikely as The IBF Swoops In

During the last two days, various press clippings in Germany were suggesting that IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham was going to vacate his title in order to make a move to super middleweight for a possible shot at the IBF's ruler at 168, Lucian Bute. Considering the recent decisions by the IBF, there is little to no chance of that fight coming off, at least in the near future. [details]

AA should just move up already. Bute can rematch Andrade.

First it was a negotiation with Bute's team, now I am hearing Kessler's name mentioned, damn arthur seems like he is wasting no time!

Pavlik has lost his Cohuna's, so let Abraham fight Pwill. Every network would be willing to get that fight so lets make it happen. Pwill is definitely the draw but Abraham has the belt. Both would like to fight Pavlik. But he dont want it with neither.

Andrade rematch is the right thing to do. Unfinished business there for sure.

Look for Abraham to vacate his title. That would pave the way for another Universum fighter in Sebastian Sylvester to fight for the belt against Lorenzo. I just cannot see Artur waste his time with another useless defense.

Abraham should fight Froch. But they wont let them Froch fight against Abraham.

I was hoping thta Froch-Bute would be announced, but it doesn't likely, even though discussions were apparently going well.

I agree with the guys above, Froch-Abraham is the fight to make if Bute is busy.
