I never understand the hatred some boxing fans have for MMA, when i hear the hate i think its insecurity that MMA is hurting boxing. You never hear "**** curling, or water polo, or even college wrestling, nfl, etc etc" the fact that (some) boxing fans hate UFC so much and care so much about it, reflects on its popularity. I am a boxing fan first and an occasional MMA fan, I believe how dana white has the UFC set up would be perfect for boxing and he is %100 correct in whats wrong with the sport.

We need 1 title per weight class, we need better under cards, we need matchmakers that are in it for the fans, not matchmakers that are in it for their fighter and money.

I agree with some of your points....

Mainly that 1.... In boxing i think its harder to do that, but it could still be done...boxing matches now (ufc might even aswel) fighters take how long between fights...6-7months per fight?....If they could reduce that....or a fighter one day that didnt mind fighting often and was pure class, would be amazing

LOL, you're clearly missing the point, and somehow bring up that MMA fans hate on boxing as well. So your hatred for MMA is completely retalitary? Some of their fans hate my sport, so i'll hate on theres?
You'll grow out of that attitude after high school. MMA fans hating on boxing is just as silly as Boxing fans hating on MMA, if you don't like the sport, fine, but why the negative attitude geared directly at MMA? When Jose Canseco went on celebrity boxing, there wasn't a ton of ***** baseball* threads? But if an MMA fighter says he wants to box, or dana white makes a comment on boxing, theres a ton of *mma sucks* comments.

I enjoy both, and i enjoy the structure of UFC as far as how fights are arranged, the quality of their PPV cards, how often they put together these cards, and the fact that they have a matchmaker that doesn't work for the fighters, but works for the sport, and if a fighter sucks, they don't get fights on the PPV card.

Dana White is just shooting it straight peeps. He has always said he was a boxing fan and actually boxed. That's why he was gonna fight Tito Ortiz in boxing and not MMA but Ortiz backed out.

As far as his comments on Floyd he hit the nail on the head homies...Floyd is not the pay per view attraction he claims to be. Straight up all the people he fought in Gatti, Oscar, Hatton, those were the people that brought in the money not Floyd.

Anyways, I completely disagree with him on boxing dying or in trouble because as far as I'm concerned this is a new golden age in boxing with many superstars like the early 80s...all we are missing is a Tyson to wreck the heavy weight division and make it a spectacle again. As far as the other weight classes there are several stars in each class that can fight eachother. **** gotta love boxing baby cause it's on point...and if it was dead why is boxing always able to make such huge ppv numbers? Numbers that surpass MMA.
