Either Cotto will expose Pacquiao for not having the ring intelligence people assume he has or Pac will outwork Cotto winning a decision. Pac has natural speed and power and he has utilized this during his last 3 fights, I have not been impressed by his boxing skills per se due to the opposition he's faced.
I do not expect Cotto to go down in this fight, I find it suprising that Cotto has not been given his props until just recently when he beat Clottey. First he was a bull like brawler, then he was too slow, then he had no chin, then he had no heart. Cotto is a more all round fighter than people assume he is. The biggest problem at this stage is the lack of a good trainer, if Cotto hires Steward I can see him winning this fight by stoppage.
I dont count Pac out though, I dont think he carries a major punch at WW, but I can see his workrate frustrating and discouraging Cotto if he doesnt fighthis fight. To me its a pick em fight...
For once Roach is speaking with some common sense whoever thinks that Pac runs over Cotto is just plain dumb. This is going to be a hard fought fight until Cotto gets to Pac in or around the 7th.
joke coach roach is a ****ing idiot for saying mosley is overrated, maybe the parkinson is getting to his thought process and he forgot that mosley still has the devastating right overhand and plus ****m "swim without getting wet" Richardson" training shane instead of jack mosley training him, shane will make sure to control the fight and hold manny arms as soon as manny starts to throw his flurries and ssm will just hold and wear down manny down the stretch, manny hasn't fought smart fighters that try to outbox him , he fights straight ahead fighters and that allows him to unload on them, sugar shane by easy unanimous decision or by stoppage from joe Cortez cuz he likes to have controversial stoppages , not even worth buying on pay per view , as far as the cotto fight,if cotto fights the way he did against mosley , cotto wins easily , especially moving up 8-10 lbs on weight , if mosley couldn't put cotto on his ass with them overhand rights , then no way pacboy will, cotto by late round TKO, too Many body shots for the parkinsoned trained Filipino ,
You won't be an up-and-comer for long if you keep this up...
You say his hook will put you to sleep, yet he didn't even hurt Cotto the entire fight, or De La Hoya, or Winky Wright and it took him 11 rounds to do what Oscar and Tito did in 8 and 6 if I remember correctly. Also just because a guy isn't coming forward doesn't mean he is running, Mayweather doesn't run he's a counter puncher, same with Marquez. Cotto saw that he wasn't going to damage to Mosley coming forward and maybe saw he could end up losing the fight or get hit and hurt badly with one of Mosley's shots so he changed his gameplan and its what won him the last few rounds. Its called "boxing" not come forward only, if it was they'd change the name.
And as far as people saying that Cotto will get KO'd you got the guys trainer saying it will take 12 rounds. This is Roach, the same guy who said a KO of Oscar in 9 and it was 8 and a KO of Hatton in 3 it was 2. If you aren't going to listen to the guys trainer you people are helpless.
With that being said I agree with Roach, I think Cotto will win he is just too big and Paq couldn't KO an extremely weak Oscar. Cotto is faster and stronger than Oscar and he knows how to cut off the ring where as Oscar just followed Paq around like they were dancing. Paq can win, but I just don't think he can handle Cotto's size, he's been rocked before. The left by Marquez comes to mind and that was from a guy at 127 who is right handed. A left from Cotto at about 160ish the night of the fight... Paq is going to be shocked at the power.
you think if ODLH didn't enter the 9th round he wouldn't have been KTFO? your an idiot have a good day.
imo, it's more of a showing odlh had to quit on his stool.

no matter if you are a Cotto fan or a Pacman fan this will be one for the history books. It should be as good as it gets with the #1 p4p king and the best welter today.I am a Cotto fan so of course i am rooting for him ( i think he wins in a easy way) but if Pac man wins there should be no excuses.Everyone keep making excuses for the pacman wins like ODLH was past his prime and now Hatton was overrated ( I agree with this one)If Pacman beats Cotto he should get no excuses from the Cotto fans but When Cotto beats him I dont want to hear the excuses about Cotto beating the smaller guy,They both should get their credit if they win.At the end of the day it will be a great day for boxing.
Most probably it’s the other way around, brah.
Manny never gets tired. He’s a human dynamo he trains to fyt for 20 rounds.
Cotto will be punching air and chasing manny like a haywire spinning top.
Manny wears cotto down and stops him at 9…now that’s the more likely scenario.
