Dude, i've seen you're posts many times, and they're well written, informative and etc... I just want to know, who is your dad? Who are you? and how old are you, did you box? are you going into the boxing biz? as a trainer? can you get your dad to log in, and maybe hang around the training and nutri section? etc...
Alright guys, here are some simple, basic boxing questions....

Oh, and also this question....
Who do you blame for these mistakes.....
The trainers for not being able to instill these fundamentals in their fighter??? I mean I have seen some trainers not saying anything when their fighter throws a jab and drops his hand....
Or the fighter for not doing what he was told to do???Comment

its the jordan/jones syndrome.everybody wanted to be jordan after jorda, everybody wanted to be jones after jones, which is utterly ridiculous when you don't have the reflexes do do what he did.he got away with lacking alot of fundamentals cause he was so physically gifted.these guys, do not.not even gamboa.Comment

There are two types of fighting minds:
1: A fighter who gets taught tricks
2: A fighter who learns tricks so they become instinctive.
In the heat of battle, the fighters who learned are the ones who react instinctively and correctly. The fighters who are taught revert back to natural instincts, think too much, lose focus and make mistakes.
No trainer in the world can help most fighters when that fighter gets pulled into deep water. The only thing they can do is try to prevent that from happening in the first place by trying to prevent the fighter from reaching that point. Ortiz's trainers practically begged him to fight smart, but it was already too late. Ortiz got dragged in by not only his opponent, but also the lust of his own punching power.Comment
