im wondering how many times does anybody needs to get hit like that to at least make a warning.. or deduct a point.... the ref was lost... he was like ..ok that punch is legal...

He has no heart and the things he said after the fight showed he's not cut out for the fight game.

People say that fighters like Margarito are the kidn that will end up not being able to speak right because they never back down but if you don't have that attitude in boxing you won't get anywhere.

You have to be willing to leave your life in there if you want to be champ. Ortiz was so used to knocking people out and not having anyone fight back that the first time he fought someone that wasn't intimidated, he folded.

Sad because this kid has all the talent in the world to become a great fighter, he just doesn't have the heart. Maybe he can go see the Wizard of Oz and he can get a heart.....

Well I guess you are right, maybe he should move to Mexico and see what it's like to really struggle. Those HBO promo's about how tough his life are made me ***in laugh.

I mean, I don't know anyone that doesn't come from a broken home but so what...

In countries like Mexico people have much worse problems, like when they are going to get their next meal from or where can they get some shoes for their feet.

I think this kid believed his own hype. He lacks serious toughness and the will to die in the ring.

clottey????? what did he do to clottey???? maidana def hit a couple of time behind the head but he got reprimended by the ref. imo what really ****ed with ortiz was the left eye. once he gets hit with a straight right at the very begining of rd 6 (1st punch) his eye starts closing. one eye cut the other closed hes getting beat so he quit. end of story.

Did you even watch the fight? Round 12 was the most obvious. He hit Clottey with a low blow and a rabbit punch in 12. Don't get me wrong, Clottey lost the fight because he quit fighting but Cotto does throw his share of illegal punches.
