No boxer should get any respect for quitting like Ortiz did. This is a warrior sport, if you can't take the punishment like a man, then don't take it at all. Ortiz wasn't that badly hurt and he quit without hesitation. Why should that be respected?

Then he should have never laced up gloves in the first place. Maybe he should work on his deffense or use his jab and box rather then go blow for blow with a hard puncher like Maidana.....he never should have said what he said in that post fight...That is like a football player saying well we were down 30-0 in the 1st quarter so why play the rest of the game? his quitting was worst then acelino freitas no mas, atleast freitas got up a few times before quiting. I never wanna see ortiz on my screen again. oh wait i meant to say *****ortiz.
