Roach 1 up GBP again with yesterday's debacle

If Roach never matched up Khan with MAB, maybe GBP wouldn't have felt the pressure to rush Ortiz against an opponent like Maidana.

Obviously, Khan and Ortiz were suppose to be on this collision course, whether it's fighting the better opponents, or whatever it is, both fighters were trying to one up each other. Khan passed his test against MAB, and Vicky failed miserably, hehe.

Khan already failed miserably before Ortiz did. In fact it's unbelievable to me that he's the betting favorite against Kotelnik when all he did was knock out a bum and TKO an cut, overweight, old Barrera.

You need to remember that Khan also got KO in 52 seconds, Both are young fighters and they need time to grow without too much pressure or hype.

big difference bet an old , past prime featherweight than a big , tough junior welterweight with a good chin and power.

golden boy needs to do better matchmaking.

all their prospects are getting beat up.

Khan failed and came back better than ever, against a FHOF.

That's why I think GBP felt they had to make this move in matching Ortiz with a "belt holder" because Khan made alot of noise and got back on the right track by beating a big name opponent. It blew up in GBP's face big time.

They might not be able to put Vicky back together after this. De La Joto will be forced out of retirement to save his failing Boxing Promotions form bankruptcy, hehe.

I also think Khan can beat him but to have khan has the overwhelming favourite is a bit over the top for me, Maidana was able to do thing he couldnt do to kotelnik against ortiz, Which shows how good kotelnik really is..

it's because more people will bet on khan that's why.

same thing as why pac will be favored or even with cotto though cotto should be favored.
