ortiz fought a pretty dumb fight.
Torres skill is very very evident he isnt some push over with power like maidana is. Torres wouldve beaten Yolt if he hadnt been headbutted. Why do people always downplay Torres's skill. the only two fighters hes lost too were Cotto in a legitimate Knockout and Holt which was an unfair headbutt that knocked out Torres by Holt.

Bottomline torres is a much more polished and skilled ifghter than Maidana. Maidana wont hold the belt long just watch

Only the bandwagoners think Maidana is going to hold the belt for any amount of time.

I feel the same way. He knocked down Holt and I was jumpin up and down ready for him to finally be able to shine at 140lb and then gets headbutted and Koed.

maidana doesnt even have a jab bro.

All you need is to keep your hands up and have a good gameplan. the guy is bunk and will most likely lose in a rematch against ortiz

Torres would give a beat down to Ortiz if they fought

              i don't downplay torres skill.

i like torres and think holt got lucky in the rematch.

i think he has faster hands than maidana and better skilled.

i'm just saying the skills didn't play a part in either fight.

cotto is better skilled than torres. he just kept getting caught with torres' power because ricardo had faster hands than he thought. plus cotto was pretty chinny at 140.

ortiz is also better skilled than maidana. he gave maidana his only chance of winning by fighting the way he did.

neither torres or maidana's skill matter in either fight because cotto and ortiz made it a tougher fight than it should have.

if they had just taken their time and had been more cautious it would have been easier for both.

he'll lose the title to whoever fights him with a decent jab , defense and knows how to clinch.

Im sayin if he has a good trainer like roach he would be amazing. With power like that all he needs is to polish up his boxing and footwork.
