Also people need to realize that Mosley only got $2 million to fight Margarito, while Cotto got $3 million to fight Michael Jennings. It's things like this as reasons why it is impossible for me to be a fan of Cotto on top of having to deal with his own biased fan base.

I agree though, there should be a rematch but there is a difference between Cotto and Mosley. Mosley barely squeks out a victory over Mayorga, even though it was a KO Mayorga is total **** and Mosley looked bad, yet it earns him a right to fight Margarito. Okay, I'm fine with that, yet, Cotto barely beats Clottey (by one point in my book) and he earns a fight against Paq, but that BS because he didn't beat Mosley enough? The fact is Cotto earned the Paq fight because he's fought everyone in his division, he's fought THE best and he's won with the exception of a tainted loss to Marg. If there is any rematch it should be Marg/Cotto II, not Mosley/Cotto II.

Also lets face it, Mosley isn't a draw anymore, IDK if he ever was reallly, not Cotto, Paq, De La Hoya numbers anyway. Paq is looking for money fights over a challenging fight, that isn't to say that Cotto isn't one for Paq, but plain and simple he just pays more and thats why Mosley didn't get the fight. Mosley needs to face the facts that he isn't the money maker De La Hoya was and needs to put his pride/ego aside and fight people who are calling him out. Cotto accepted Clottey's challenge over big money why can't Mosley?

Cotto ran the last 3 rounds a bad habit he is getting into and no at the time a rematch wasn't needed, it was close but Cotto won by 2-3 rounds imo, Shane had a bad game plan. But after Marg beatdown Cotto and became top man at WW, then Shane beats him, he becomes the man at ww, it means Cotto vs Mosley should happen. Hopefully after Cotto vs Pac, i hope so cause Mosley aint getting Pac and Floyd is to chicken to fight him untill he is 40 +..

im probly gonna get bashed for saying this..but IMO joshua clottey is the number one guy. and im not just saying that cause hes one of my favorite fighters..but because he BEAT cotto anyway you cut it..and im not the only one who believes that..most of the people who say cotto won were cotto fans and people who just werent to fond of clottey..and if clottey fought mosley i think he would beat mosley by UD even though it would be a close fight..on paper cotto and mosley are the top guys but in reality clottey is the top guy because he beat cotto..i respect that cotto fought with a bad cut and showed heart..but heart,determination and toughness are not criteria for scoring fights round by round things such as ring generalship and clean punching are. which clottey was doing waaaaaaay more often than cotto was..and clottey blocked roughly 60-68 percent of cottos punches the whole entire fight..cotto blocked roughly 20-25 percent of clotteys punches..anyway im just expressing my opinion because im tired of these good fighters that get ****ted on by the boxing business just because of money..i mean if the judges scored it properly for clottey..a cotto-pacquio fight would be out of the question wouldnt it?

Scored properly according to your opinion. well if clotty would have won the fight I still think cotto vs pac would have happend. anyway the thread is about mosley and cotto and mosley should be pursuing cotto instead of pac. but mosley is after the money and thats cool but he aint going to get that fight with pac so he should fight clotty and see what happens right?
