It's necessary cuz we stuck talkin bout who's ranked #1 instead of who's the ****in world WW champ. Rematch and crown a new lineal champion. These guys don't need to be ****in wit lil Pac, they need to fight each other. Cotto didn't beat SSM nearly bad enuf that I'd say SSM has no chance to win a rematch. And the 1st fight was excitin, so do it again. A Marg rematch can happen later for Cotto.

But the only reason Shane is holding on to that position of beating Margs is that he refuses to fight anyone.

Even if what you're saying is true, how does that explain the basis of your thread by saying Cotto is a better head-to-head fighter than Mosley is? Cotto has barely squeaked by a guy with a moderate work rate, and Mosley absolutely destroyed the guy with the high work rate. People need to think about that. And even before Margarito got busted with plaster, we had to listen to a lot of these people bash Margarito for losing the first quarter of the fight against Clottey. But Cotto practically gets his f#cking ass kicked by him, and he's praised as the second coming of Jesus Christ. I don't like Margarito either, but these double standards make me steaming mad.

That's what I said. SSM can't keep claimin to be #1 if he don't fight. I give him to the end of the yr to do sumthin or Cotto takes the top spot.

And yea, time progression matters. Are we to assume every fighter who loses but rebounds to take the top spot in his division must automatically forfeit that spot to the last guy who beat him? That's bull****. SSM and Cotto should want each other for division clarity, but they worried about $ wit a ****in non WW in lil Pac.
