KHAN got more HEART than ORTIZ

When Prescot knocked Amir down the 1st time, he did not only immediatly stand up when he was clearly hurt but he also gave the ref the sign to continue the fight despite the fact that Amir was "all over the place". And then when Prescott knocked him down again, Khan was in a very bad state but he still tried to get up. We all saw he didn't succeed.

But Ortiz on the hand just basicly threw in the towel. I don't blame him because the swelling was very bad but I don't see Khan ever doing this. At a young age in the beginning of a fighters carreer it is very hard to continue fighting when you get hurt very badly.

I'm not hating on Ortiz because I admire him as a fighter and his personality and I also feel that he could have won last night against Maidana if he just kept his composure.

P.S.: Khan beat and stopped Ortiz at the amateurs. Just like to mention it.

That is because Ortiz doesn't have Khans heart, but I'm sure Ortiz has a better chin then Khan but probably not boxing skills. Its hard to rate Khans boxing skills because he had barrera who was smaller than him infront of him and barrera bad cut made it hard to judge the fight. Meaning after Khan got the cut on his eye, he pretty much dominated Barrera with ease.

Me personnally I always thought Khan has a heart, after all it takes something to get up after getting knocked down so many times but I don't know about Ortiz.

Last night's fight was the first time in which he had to display his heart and IMO you could say it's questionable.

But he tried,he went down, got up and tried and failed.

I will consider this a one thing deal.We will see next time.So far you can't say Khan has more heart or viceversa. But I'd still pick Ortiz to KO Khan.

I don't think heart or willing has ever been an issue with Khan, he's got a lot of both.

In 2003 or 2004 just before the Olympics. He did not just beat him, he stopped him.

With Ortiz its not a lack of heart its a lack of talent. When he quit he was done because he was beat. He had nothing left and with his defense he was going to do nothing but take a beating. His eyes were glazed in the corner and his corner was ready to stop it before the last round. Ortiz is Fernando Vargas with less talent. You cant judge a mans heart for quiting when they are beat. He didnt have a chance.

YES... Khan's got loads a heart.. He's fit enough & keen enough to do 15 with anyone.. It's ONLY the CHIN that worries me....
With Ortiz... The guy was badly hurt & had to stop..
Admittedly... It's only exceptional 'ATG's' that NEVER would.. (OR DREAM of it)
IE: CAZ, B/HOP, RJJ, HOLY, HAGLER, MONZON & many more..
So... We can safely say that Ortiz aint gonna rule the world...
I don't think Khan will either... But I hope he does... Wlad style..

IE: PISS IN THE FACE OF ADVERSETY!
