Honestly, I'm glad that Ortiz said all that. I hate when fighters say they are fighting for their country or whatever. Boxing shouldn't be black and white where you have to root for your countrymen or your skin color imo. I like rooting for other fighters outside of America and would hate to feel that a fighter has alienated other fans and only singled out one group of people he is fighting for.

First off yesterday i was really emotional i rooted for the guy since day one. Now i look at it and i still feel the same maybe i worded it wrong. As for the chicano part i didn't mean anything by it, you can't live in az and dislike chicanos. As for the mexican thing it has 0 to do with where he was born and raised, but how he said he was a warrior and quit,IDK if this will be forgotten just like when Oscar quit fighting vs tito.
