I actually credited Cotto many times for putting up a heroic effort against Margo. And defended his decision not to continue after the fight.

That's why I capitalized "SOME" in my post - cause I know many logical fans like yourself felt that way - BUT there are those, who talk out of both sides of their neck - if one "defends" Ortiz decision but not Cotto's then he/she is just a hater...but that's always gonna exist in these forums...

yea im feeling that post. Boxing has just dubbed him the new Oscar De La Hoya which means big paydays for the future in the millions. Boxing is all about risking your health.

yeha dude so do I but even agaist marg something wasn't right... s he had to do what he had to do... there is nothing wrong with that.

I think he was just pushed beyond his thresh hold. That limit where every human draws the line and surrenders after some extreme mental and physical efforts.
