    so here is my question.....

were you not satisfied with victor ortiz's performance? lets see:
he floored the guy once in the 1st.... got floored in the first.... got up to floor him twice in the second....

Then got stopped in the 6th.....

the fight was exciting, and the truth of the matter is that u all are dissappointed with the interview, not his performance.... he had one cut eye, one closed eye, and admitted he was hurt badly.... there is no shame in knowing when enough is enough.....

    nobody is questioning ortiz power..

but he got terrible jab, terrible defense.. and he just QUIT !

that is all he is... if someone can take his punch, he's done..

stop making excuses, the guy had no reason to quit, he wasn't being beaten to death, he was in a tough fight and nothing more.

I, for one, was not disappointed but I think many others out there were because they had Ortiz pegged as some unbeatable phenom. In fact, he was an excellent guy who has hyped up by HBO that got bested by a far more experienced boxer- nothing wrong with that. Nate Campbell and JMM vs. Juan Diaz were prime examples where an HBO guy was bested when faced with adversity and fell short. I hold nothing against the guy as he will undoubtedly rebound but all the hate towards Amir Khan is unwaranted, in my opinion as he lost to a more challenging guy (21-0, 18KO's) in Prescott; he is not the best but his record shows his skills like it or not.

He just really fought a dumb fight going to war with a guy like that who only has that one chance to win. He could've boxed circles around the guy, then he quit on top of it. I'm not saying he's trash or whatever but it REALLY shows his limitations and there are fighters much better than Maidana.
