WTF does that have to do with Victor losing. Mosely's still the man he did'nt lose nothin.

This is a 22 year old kid for goodness sake! Give him a chance, your not defined by your defeats rather it how you bounce back. Lets give him a chance before we right him off at 22
Exactly people want the fighters and promoters to step up and put on better fights so lets show the fighters some respect.

Damn. Was partying last night so I missed the fight live, just saw the replay this morning (hungover like a mofo, not knowing who won). Although I was sad to see Vic lose... it was a damn good fight!

I agree with those that say 22 is young. Vic's got skills. He admitted himself that he played to the crowd and threw away the game plan.

You just knew that this forum was gonna be filled with "quitting" talk. Of course, it's a legit topic, but it's overshadowing the fact that this was (again) a damn good fight.

anyway Maidana lost against Kotelnik which put a question mark how would Amir Khan handle Kotelnik.

also it makes as if Maidana has +40 fight but him and victor Ortiz are about the same. But as experince it not mcuh only that Maidana traveled around the world to fighyout other fighters.
You are wrong.pacman was going to jump to gbp but was still under contract to arum.he was going to breach his contract but a court ordered he stay with arum.when his contracts up he will jump ship in a heartbeat.gbp owns ring magazine & is by far the premier promotion.

            Good Quote

I agree with Nate Campbell on this one. I'm not happy Ortiz lost but it is nice to see a guy who gets no press win a big fight. I was also happy when Prescott got the win against Khan. Prescott still can't get big fights, Khan even after being beaten badly gets big fights immediatly afterwards.

Hopefully some good comes out of this for Maidana.

Ortiz fights like he is still in the teenage national ranks, he could not keep a left hand up to keep away that same wide ass rite hand from maidana, victor ortiz needs to first learn to become a professional and then he can avoid his teams gameplan, he seemed like he QUIT, I think b-hop,sugar shane, and the olden girl need to sit this kid down and teach him first to become a professional inside the ring maybe he can grow a heart from here on out,cuz the olden girl won't be able to since he finished his career on the stool like he was ****ting in his trunks from taking that ass whopping from manny, i thought for sure vic's eye was bout to swell up like fernando Vargas eye did back in the day or like when hassim Rahman head swole up like a softball, vic needs work on defense and more important GROW SUM NUTZ kid,

He's a young horse. You can't discard him immediatly. He's contimplating on his future as of now.Brutal beating, bad fight and a nice lesson taught. No need to be EXTRA.

I can take him not winning , theres no problem with losing , but the way lost he needs to quit he needs to reevaluate his commitment to the sport ,maybe his trainer danny Garcia doesnt instill the discipline he needs , not being an extra , just calling it like I c it,

the reason ortiz lost is because of his damn corner man. telling ortiz he was going to stop the fight demolished his confidence. how the hell would you tell him your going to stop the fight when ortiz is winning and giving just as much punishment as he is recieving. ortiz could have won this fight easily, i want to kill his damn corner man.
