Philippines only has 3 fighters in Pacquiao, Penalosa and Donaire. With Pacquiao and Penalosa retiring and Donaire being avoided in the lower weight classes, Philippine boxing doesnt seem to have a bright future..
There are young prospects all over the world, and given the right training and opportunity, they can become a champion in their early twenties. Unlike team sports which may take decades to build, a boxing prospect can be developed within a few short years.
For the Philippines, there are too many young prospects to list, and even two more divisional champions that you did not mention. To say that Philippine boxing doesn't have a bright future is ridiculous.
Why are you focusing your negative criticisms on the Philippines anyway? How many other developing countries, with a relatively small population, can boast having four world champions including the best pound for pound fighter for several years now?
It's good to have pride in your country, but making unfounded criticisms of other countries indicates jealousy and poor sportsmanship.
