Penalosa is a 2 division champion and he even won a championship at the age of 36. To not include him in the list is ******ed. Sure he lost to Juanma but dude he was suppose to lose that fight and besides Penalosa is already small at batamweight. To fight someone as big and as young as Juanma only tells you that he's got balls. Honestly, I think a prime Gerry can outpoint Juanma.

I've always thought pena was a B level fighter. I guess that's good for the philipines but not on the world level. Most of his fights have been on philipine or asian soil and the opposition has been unheard of with exception to a few fighters in his last 5 fights. I don't know, I would have loved to see him with some higher quality opposition in his youth, now I guess it's too late.

Jorge Arce has always been a good fighter, but anyone who thinks he deserves to be in the hall of fame are tripping. Nobody on this thread has said that, but I've heard a Darchinyan fan say it before. Arce might have a little bit better of a case for it if he would've beat Michael Carbajal instead of getting clocked while being ahead in that fight. But even then, he would only be a border line case.
