AA lost some 14lbs before the fight with Oral, within 25 days. For the fight vs. Simon he had to lose even more weight, and did so in about two weeks. This weight loss was so bad for his health, that he was out of gas in the fight, and just won by points.

He is having difficulties making weight. When not fighting, he is at 176+lbs, and going down to 160 means losing 16+lbs. Not healthy. Going to 168 is an improvement for his health (if Kessler is an improvement to AA health - we'll see).

The reporter tried to nail AA to the point of "going up" or not. AA agreed he'll go up, since the fights with Sturm or Pavlik were still not fixed.
many fighters lost more than 16 lbs. he may very well have outgrown mw, but a month to lose the weight is unacceptable.

It was a matter of time. Now I'm waiting for Arum and/or Pavlik's camp to say Abraham ran out of the division out of fear.

he said "middleweight, supermiddleweight - i'll be where ever the big fights are"

he expressed his desire to fight pavlik and to chase his dreams of having huge fights in the united states
He said it in the postfight interview on german TV.

Prefight there was also conflicting statements to german media and boxingscene.com.

It's not out of the question that they are trying to put some pressure on team Pavlik to make the unification happen.

It's been old news now that Abraham insisted he will be heading to 168. I'm glad he had confirmed it. Arum has had his chance to make the Pavlik fight.

                Abraham/Kessler anybody? I think so....

yup, i hope pavlik-AA materializes QUICK

arum, pavlik whoever the hell is responsible for this **** not happening, needs to wake the hell up and make it ***in happen. no more bull****tin with the lockets, rubios and orals - TOP DOG VS TOP DOG

i think pavliks workrate will bother abraham as abrahams power will bother pavlik. its a very intriguing match up that the world wants to see at 160!

                  damn politics

Kessler was the one mentioned on german TV. They called it a "Wahnsinnskampf".

Kessler is wellknown in Germany having ko'ed both Beyer and Haussler. In Abraham they'll be looking for some sweet revenge.
